The design concentrates on a good combination of strength and comfort while keeping the weight respectably low. You will notice three geometric changes on the RS. First is the longer headtube, to match the higher handlebar position. Second is the chainstay length; once the handlebars move higher and the riders torso rotates backwards, his/her centre of gravity moves backwards as well. Lengthening the chainstays, keep the weight distribution between front and rear wheels for optimal handling characteristics. Lastly is that this, the smallest size is made specifically for 650c wheels to prevent toe overlap.
