STIFF YET COMFORTABLE
The 566 has been conceived for above all comfort. The rigidity comes from certain components that require stiffness, such as the bottom bracket. This frame is destined for cyclists that want an all-around performing frame that could be used in competition.
"X-DESIGN" STAYS
The 566 is designed to improve comfort while preserving lateral rigidity. The seat and chain stays have been designed with a component in the centre that helps absorb road shocks. This flat section functions as a "flex point" on the carbon tube. By enlarging the tube diameter, the lateral rigidity of the frame is improved. The top tube also has a flat section which allows greater deformation on the vertical plane.
NEW SLOPING GEOMETRY
The 566 adopts a sloping geometry which provides more comfort on the bike. The head tube is taller while the sloping top tube length stays the same and allows the use of a 27.2 seatpost. All these details add up to comfort. The 566 can be used in competition
ULTRA LIGHT CONCEPT
LOOK expertise in frame materials and construction creates ultra-light frames without compromising strength or rigidity. The weight of the 566 falls under the 1100 gram bar.
566 FORK
The 566 fork is a one piece monocoque 100% carbon fork. It conforms to the EN 14781 Standard, The shape of this fork has been studied to provide comfort and stability for the rider. The fork crown is flared to offer support to a carbon conical bearing. This design is strong and helps keep the bicycle stable. The fork blades are oversized to better absorb road shock.
