The New Crosslight Csix 2is part of the Kinesis 'Advanced Development Program' and builds on the success of the Italian-made Crosslight CSix, which the company developed for the 2008/2009 season and upon which National Champion Jody Crawforth raced aboard.
The frame is an all-carbon monocoque with a new fork developed to complement it. As we'd expect from a company with a good understanding of what it takes to develop a successful 'cross frame, this new CSix2 has a shaped top tube for comfortable carrying, an octagonal-shaped top tube to resist lateral flexing and slim wishbone seatstays and vertically tall chainstays for good power transfer.
All cables are routed along the top of the top tube and the rear gear cable routing accommodates a full length outer casing to reduce the possibility of mud affecting shifting performance. A 'Zero-Stack' headset keeps the front end low for the racers who demand a low position and the geometry is based on the Crosslight EVO4.
