| Founded in 1921 by master craftsman Cesare Rizzato in Padua Italy, the Atala brand has been the choice of champions for many generations, from participating the inaugural Giro de Italia to the numerous world championship victories. Each bike in the 2010 Atala range combines that racing heritage with an Italian passion for design. Not every rider is set to star in the tour of Italy or win a world championship jersey, but an Atala bike might just provide the inspiration you need to reach your goal. At the heart of the SLR150 lies an lightweight aluminium frame with a hi-ten steel aero fork and a road racing geometry. It features Shimano STI button shifters for effortless gear changing and braking, Roubaix 24 hole aero rims with quick release ARP hubs & Shimano STI derailleur's. The larger 700c wheels, narrow tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds than a mountain bike or hybrid. The SLR150 comes equipped with a 16 Speed transmission, comprising of 12-25 8 speed cassette on the rear and an alloy chainset.
