The FR-Carbon Jersey is made from a new pattern FOR 2011, developed in conjunction with our pro team partners. It is constructed to fit the body like a second skin on the bike. The shape of the panels eliminate puckers and creases by ergonomically following the body's contours.
The sleeves, side panels and printed shoulders are made of ultra-light Asteria fabric. Incredibly soft, this material utilizes a honeycomb knit, allowing omnidirectional stretch for optimal fit.
Its properties of superior wicking and elasticity are woven into the fabric and will not lesson over time.
A Carbon fabric is used for the large front and rear panels. In back it limits the vertical stretch, stabilizing the pockets to prevent sag when the're loaded. Both this fabric and the one that wraps the waist have threads of carbon woven through them, allowing the materials to be lighter, while maintaining their strength.
Carbon has the added benefit of reducing electrical interference around internal organs. |
