The POC Tectal MTB helmet is the successor to the Trabec and it uses several of the Trabec's proprietary features amongst others to offer the wearer the best dome protection possible when out on the rugged and ruthless trail.

The 1-piece EPS liner and monococque shell work together to form a strong structure without weak zones, and the Aramid Bridge System reinforces the sections between the vents to resist crush damage when subject to heavy impacts. Additionally the oversize vents promote excellent air flow which subsequently improves aerodynamics, and the overall coverage of the helmet at the sides and back is considerably greater than many other trail helmets out there.
